Platt has worked on original electronic-based designs for a number of years.
He is also experienced in
the total development and support of products, as well as Engineering
Management.
Sid obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas.
Sid has developed designs in the power, medical, and computer fields. He is an experienced analog circuit and digital system designer. He also possesses a working knowledge of software development. Sid holds a patent on a frequency relay that was developed for the power industry.
In addition, Sid has worked in several management positions in the computer and medical fields. He understands project management and related business issues. He has also worked in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, product support, and supplier engineering.
He was the Director of Engineering for a small medical device manufacturing company where he developed a device to administer heparin to dialysis patients. He successfully obtained FDA 510K approval for the device.
